Richard Mitchell

Professional Guardian

(352)-895-1121

“I have lived and worked in North Central Florida since 1978. My professional work and community service have always been focused on improving the lives of older persons living in our community.

My work experience includes case management in state and federally funded senior service programs and training of Assisted Living Facility personnel. I contributed to proposed state legislation and developed senior volunteer programs. I managed not-for-profit service and education programs, coordinated in-home health care services, and continue to facilitate care-giver support group meetings.

As my mother’s care-giver I arranged for and managed the help and support she needed, encouraging her while helping her to remember her many life accomplishments. I experienced the joy of making a difference in another person’s life.

My mother’s memory inspires my work. I am an Elder Advocate and I make a difference in my community...one person at a time.”

Lashunia Frazier

Professional Guardian

Greetings! My name is Lashunia Frazier aka Peaches. I'm a Professional Guardian serving Citrus, Lake, Marion, Orange and Sumter counties. I was born in Washington D.C. at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital. I currently reside in Marion County and have been for the last 15 years. I'm happily married with two son's and love them all dearly. Prior to becoming a guardian, I worked in the healthcare arena. For the last 6 years, I've worked as a nurse providing care to patients in their homes. Working in that capacity is how I learned about guardianship.

I've always been an advocate for individuals who are viewed as vulnerable such as children and the elderly. "Treat people like you'd want to be treated" is what I say. In doing so, I believe this world would be a better place.

In regards to my skills, I'm client focused, transparent, detail oriented, an attentive listener, a team player, knowledgeable about finances, real estate and various medical conditions. Possessing those skills and just being me, has proven to be beneficial to everyone that I work with, especially my wards. It's awesome to know that what I bring to the table has made a huge difference in their lives.

I'm accessible. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me on my cell at 352-286-1071 or via email at lashuniafrazier@gmail.com.
